I am voting no for proposal #2. While I cannot argue that a starting pitcher should be able to pitch more than 1 inning, and it is annoying and unrealistic to not do so, I believe the new rule will create a situation that is worse, and more unrealistic, than the problem it corrects. If you take a SP an...

As my special gift to the YOC, I'm going to make a last minute rule proposal. I think that we should reactivate the clutch hitting feature! This may seem like heresy, but I'm not proposing this because I suddenly started believing in the myth of clutch hitting skill. However, the fact is that Strat b...

KC needs SS can offer small cash and prospects like Kieschnick, and one of this SP Looper and Kendrick. BOS needs 1B, SP can offer small cash and Prostpects like Schafer, Reddick, Chris Johnson, Alex Cobb. Send me the offers.

Unfortunately, long-time owner Dave Nichols has decided that his real-life responsibilities are leaving him with insufficient time to devote to ARBA. Dave was a great owner (and two-time league champion), and he will be missed. This leaves BTM and BLF available for new ownership. Existing own...

With the offseason in full swing, a couple of things to mention: First off, Dennis is back and resuming ownership of Iowa. Welcome back, Dennis! Second, this is the time of year when we typically have people think about whether they have the time available to stick with the league, or whether they wan...

In trade #6 of this offseason, the Zombies finally added a pair of bats. From Houston, they acquired Eric Hinske, Jerry Hairston, Jr. and $50K in exchange for Radhames Liz, Nick Weglarz, Bos#4, and Surprise#5. Ah Nick, we hardly even got a chance to know you. Good luck. The Zombies are looki...

In a rematch of last years division championship Harmony Grove would play Belfast. Game 1: Kazmir vs Hudson Harmony Grove would jump out to a 3 run lead in the 1st on a walk by Hudson and hits by Upton, Ortiz, and Thome. Belfast would get 1 back in the 2nd on hits by Lowell, Cano, and Swisher. Neither team...

Walla walla trades Micah Owings, Boof Bonser and Freddie Freeman to Houston for Saloman Torres, Chad Guadin and Aaron Miles.

Iowa needs a shortstop. Let me know if you have one available and we can go from there.

FTW has an extra full-time SS in Escobar. Identified needs include RF, 3B and of course starting pitching. FTW is short on cash, especially if Granderson goes A, so can't take big contracts without cash thrown in. FTW has some interesting prospects and still has all picks. If your looking for a yo...

It's been a rather active offseason already with 5 deals, but hopefully the Surprise Zombies aren't done yet. There are 2 priority areas at this point. The last deal opened up a hole in the OF, which I would prefer to fill with a RH bat as the lineup leads too far to the left right now. On the other hand, o...

BOS send its #2,$ and R. Tejeda for SUP Gabe Gross, Milky Cabrera and 75K
