SEW trade block
(Preview)
Sewell has decided to change directions and put some veterans on the block. Here are the guys available: Mitch Moreland - B1 contract, had a 938 OPS against righties, and with 491 adjusted PA, should be able to start against righties. Mike Moustakas- B10 contract, 860 OPS against righties wit...

Bal-ISL trade
(Preview)
As Bali continues to shed salary and basically agree to "whatever," in order to get the one player we wanted, we've followed up the Olson deal with another deal with too many names: Bali sends: Kyle Zimmer, Charlie Blackmon, newly acquired (for the second or third time) Anderson Tejeda, and Callih...

Bali/Shiner Blockbuster!
(Preview)
Shiner sends 1B Matt Olson with young infielders Anderson Tejeda and Tyler Callihan to Bali in exchange for Starling Marte, CJ Cron, Rafael Montero, and Yairo Munoz. It's a bittersweet day in Shiner as Olson was drafted #1 in 2015 and has been a key contributor for the past 3 seasons...at least until t...

Bali needs, Bali wants
(Preview)
We are looking for a long term solution at LF, does that actually happen? Willing to move Blackmon to make that happen. Others are available too, but might be less appealing to people not named ME. We have no money since Verlander and Puig are sipping mojitos in cuba (probably a bad choice of country) w...

Redwood Players For Sale
(Preview)
After acquiring Freeman and Greinke, and their combined $800K salary, Redwood needs to cut payroll and increase revenues. To that end, we have some players that are available for cash and/or picks! Chase Anderson - Had a terrible short Covid season in his first year in Toronto, but is a good bet to co...

Mudville's New Email
(Preview)
Hi All, Quick back-office update: Mudville's new email address is phoenixspectre5@outlook.com. Having graduated UND and started a job outside of the school, I just couldn't keep up with the spam in the email. I will try to get through the emails sent to me recently that I have not responded to, but...

SFE / RDW Trade
(Preview)
What do you do when one of your franchise cornerstones explodes for an MVP season? Why, you trade him, obviously! SFE bids a sad farewell to Freddie Freeman and his golfing buddy Zack Greinke, who insisted on being traded along with him, sending them to Redwood in exchange for Spencer Torkelson, Jazz...

Surprise Shopping, Part 2
(Preview)
Santa Fe's rebuilding announcement makes me think that perhaps Surprise should try a little harder this season. I mean, Jon would get bored if BRK doesn't have any competition. Thus far, SUR has only added Patrick Corbin, who isn't really going to help them compete this season. The wish list includ...

Shiner Post-Playoffs Shopping
(Preview)
Now that Thanksgiving and the World Series are over, I should probably give some more thought to the inevitably weird 2021 season. Shiner's current plan is to keep most of the band together, but they do have a few holes to fill. 1) Closer - The bullpen looks strong again, but I need to replace Yates (inju...

2020 World Series: Shiner vs. Camden
(Preview)
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! What better way to celebrate the holiday than reading an exceedingly long recap of the ARBA World Series? That's obviously a trick question, because surely there could be none. So find a comfortable chair, grab your favorite beverage, and settle in for a wild ride!Th...

The SFE Store Is Open
(Preview)
SFE has reluctantly decided that they have too many holes to compete with the CMD's and SHI's of the league and that rebuilding a year too early is better than a year too late. Accordingly, everyone is available other than Mookie and Xander, who can just play out the next few years on a loser because I'm n...

SUR/SF Trade
(Preview)
The Surprise Zombies made their 1st trade of the offseason by sending OF Brandon Phillips and $200K in bright shiny quarters to San Francisco in exchange for lefty Patrick Corbin. Corbin led the league in hits, which sounds like a good thing, right? Welcome to Surprise! He also continues the long a...
