Shiner continued their efforts to retool for another run in 2021 by adding well-traveled veteran lefty Oliver Perez.  In return, much younger pitchers Keone Kela and Joey "Cy" Wentz head to Sewell, joining former teammates Polanco and Dobnak.  Kela only spent one season with Shiner, but we thank him for his valuable contributions.  Best of luck to both of them in Shiner. I'm very excited about the reunion with Oliver Perez, who I originally drafted WAY back in 2002 and made his ARBA debut the following year at 20 as a starting pitcher with the Padres.  He spent 3 seasons with what was then the Laramie Mountaineers, missed their 1st championship while on holiday in Humble (the future Bali), then returned for 2 more seasons in Surprise, then pitched for another decade plus as a reliever.
