Santa Fe's rebuilding announcement makes me think that perhaps Surprise should try a little harder this season. I mean, Jon would get bored if BRK doesn't have any competition. Thus far, SUR has only added Patrick Corbin, who isn't really going to help them compete this season.  The wish list includes SP, 2B, 3B, and maybe OF/DH. 

Trade bait includes Joey Votto (coming off A contract), Amed Rosario, Asdrubal Cabrera, Justin Upton, Cameron Maybin, Kyle Gibson, Rick Porcello, Jordan Lyles, and Logan Allen.  With sufficient temptation, I might also part with cash, draft picks, and/or prospects. I'm unlikely to sacrifice my favorites for a dubious playoff run though. This should be a fun team next year, but not a great one.
