Deadwood in the Auction Aftermath (2025 Edition)
(Preview)
Deadwood did fine, I guess. They made a profit while adding a few useful bats and retaining the Big Maple. Although there are other opportunities for improvement, the only big need at this point is quality RH relief. There are plenty of FA and rookie options out there, but I might as well explore the tra...

Austin in the Auction Aftermath (2025 Edition)
(Preview)
Well, the defending champs did successfully spend a lot of cash to add 5 new players who should be helpful. However, there are still some clear opportunities for improvement.SS: Good D and decent enough vs. RH that I wouldn't rather just play Oneil Cruz there CF vs. RH - Good D and better vs. RH than Log...

2025 C Auction Time and Procedures
(Preview)
All -The START TIME for the C Auction NEXT SUNDAY FEB 23 will be 10:00 am Central / 11:00 am Eastern / Midnight Indonesia Time / 4:37 am Eric Standard Time. For the new owners, I think this is one of the most fun (and yet also draining) parts of the process for this league as we all get together online and do...

(Preview)
Okay, lets try again with the correct Subject title and author. Would it be possible to move the C Auction date back one week, as it is currently slated for Feb.23rd, but the Strat game isn't available until Feb.24th.

(Preview)
In what is likely an unsatisfying outcome for everyone:Rule Proposal 1 FAILS, with 4 votes For, 4 votes Against, and 3 AbstentionsRule Proposal 2 FAILS with 1 vote For and 10 votes against I think that Rule Proposal 1 was hurt by a lack of votes - I will consider having the rule voting early next year. EDC still willing to pack, Gators lose an early prospect pick-
(Preview)
We came close but no cigar on a few different offers on Mr. EDC, rumors that the Reds might put him back on 3B only complicates decision-making on the inept DG management. Further bad news that the BAG (best Gator available) Josh Whritenour will unergo TJ surgery and miss the season. We were prepared...

Rule Proposals
(Preview)
Hey all - Two votes this year. As a reminder, per the Constitution, these will be effective for the 2026 season, not the current offseason. Mudville Big Names to Move

Mudville is looking for insight into the possibility of moving the following players. I don't expect a trade to get finalized before tomorrow's deadline, but would like to try to work something out prior to the salaries deadline on 1/16. (We would announce the trade in the 2nd trade period.) I am o...
