Attendence has been in a steady decline in GDP since the glory days of the eary to mid nineties when Gdp claimed five ARBA titles in a seven year period. Ownership claims they have lost money over the last several years and remaining in Gdp is no longer financially viable. Ownership has been given a lucrative offer and will be moving the team to sunny south Florida. The team's new stadium will be in downtown Miami and the team will be known as the South Beach Great Whites.
