All -

If anyone has a good candidate who could take over a team, I would greatly appreciate hearing about it asap.

Thanks,

That would be me.

I have found that my time is needed more at home and that I will not be able to keep up with league matters. I think I came to the realization that my bizarre draft away of my own guys was just a method to try to increase long-term interest by largely foregoing present value and selecting future. At the same time, I realized my son, my house, and my law practice need additional attention, and I don't see where I will find the time to research, draft, and deal as well as play games, and if I find that time, then I should devote it to my son, who is as smart as they come but starting to have some social difficulties at school, and I have been making lots of effort to expand his opportunities to interact with other kids. To that end, I will be starting as a youth soccer coach in the spring. On the job front, I also wound up having a trial scheduled to begin out of town on the Monday after the IOD, which will make any draft preparation impossible.

Farewell, gentlemen. Should any of my guys wind up winning you championships down the road, remember I had them first.

Don, I'm sorry to see you go but certainly can't argue with your priorities.  Good luck with everything.  I'll miss you and hope that the league will still be around if/when you're ready for another dramatic return.

If Don is leaving, where does the dispersal draft stand? Is it appropriate to continue?

Repeating myself from when we spoke eariler in the week, many thanks for your years of faithful ownership.  As Eric mentioned, your priorities cannot be criticized, but if you find youself in the future with more free time, you will always be welcome in ARBA as far as I'm concerned.

Don,

Sorry to see you go.  I too stepped out for a couple of years when the responsibilty of young children became the priority.  Once things settled down I was able to return.  I hope you too will be able to return to the league at some point down the line.  Best of luck.
