I just received results from my road series at Camden. Where, incidentally I was swept 6 games. Keith and Dennis can thank Travis for this.
While perusing the game files I noticed that HAL did not use my bullpen as I had it set up in the CM. I had Carrasco set to enter with a lead of 1-3 runs with 24-99 outs. In the two games in which this scenario presented itself, Hal used Weathers in one game and McDougal in the other. I did not have this checked as "forced". Therefore, I understand that this change will only happen when the scenario exists and a pitching change happens due to the previous pitcher tiring. In both games this was the situation. I know that Travis imported my CM because he used the correct lineups I had created for his pitchers. I asked him to check and make sure he had "use Super Hal bullpen" checked for the league and he responded yes. Any of you guys that use Super Hal bullpen in your CM got any suggestions on what else I need to look for?
In the words of Roseanne Roseannadanna, NEVER MIND.
It helps when you actually enter the outs for the situation like you intended.
I had the situation set for 26-99 outs instead of 24-99 outs. HAL did just what I told him to do. So for those of you that don't trust Super HAL and thought this was just one more example of why you may not want to use him, it was my error not HALs.
