Just wanted to let everyone know that the Cooperstown Baseball League has two openings now.  Doug Frye filled an opening earlier in the season.  This is a great league for you sickos who can't get enough of the prospect stuff.  This league is structured like MLB and features a 40 man roster, 6 levels of minor leagues each with up to 25 players.  That's 150 minor leaguer's for you aggies.   Also salary cap, free agency, annual draft and in-season trading.  We have finished the schedule through June and will be starting July at the end of the week. 

It's been a fun league so far.  It would be more fun with more familiar faces in it.  Check out the new and developing web site at http://members.cox.net/dshillen.  I have league roster files I can email to anyone interested in looking at the available teams.  By the way the guy who started and runs the league is from Texas and several league members live here as well.  So there is kind of a local crowd.  I think most of that group lives in and around San Antonio.
