HAR would score first in the 3rd inning with two out walks to Diaz and Freeman followed by an Altuve double. An error in the 4th plated another run and a Pujols HR in the 6th plated 2. Cueto would shut out STC through 8 and Lopez would give up one run in the 9th. HAR 5-1
Game 2 - Odorizzi vs Greinke
STC jumped out early scoring 2 runs in the 1st with the help of a Diaz two base error. HAR answered in the bottom of the inning on back to back home runs by Freeman and Altuve. HAR would take the lead in the 3rd putting 5 runs on the board. A Jansen HR in the 4th made it 7-3 but that would be all the scoring in the game. HAR 7-3
Game 3 - Velasquez vs Springs
HAR plated 2 runs in the 1st then 2 runs in the 2nd on an Altuve HR. A Correa SF in the 4th made it 5-0. Pujols added another run in the 5th with a solo HR. Trying to keep it interesting STC scored 3 in 5th. A Gonzalez solo HR in the 8th for STC would make it interesting until HAR added 2 insurance runs in the 9th one being a Correa solo HR. HAR 8-4
Game 4 - Bush vs Dunning
HAR wasted no time taking the lead with 4 runs in the 1st highlighted by a Springer 3 run HR. STC would fight back in the 4th with a Naquin run scoring double but HAR answered back in the 5th on a Harper SF. STC wasn't giving up, scoring 2 runs in the 8th aided by a Garcia 2 base error in cf. HAR added an insurance in the 9th and Diaz closed it out. HAR 6-3
Congrats to Carl for making the playoffs, he got alot out of the talent on his team this season.
