For those who may be wondering about implementation of the various MLB rules changes in ARBA:
Strat, in its infinite wisdom, is not allowing us to pick between parts of the new rules that we want to implement and parts that we don't.
Your humble commissioner will not be part of implementation of the abominable Ghost Runner rule
Accordingly, we will not be implementing the various rules this year, such as the 3-batter minimum for relievers and the limitation to 13 pitchers available for a game
If, in future seasons, Strat makes these rules available individually rather than as a package, we will evaluate them then. Of course, any of this can be overruled in future seasons by a league vote (although I note that if the league votes for the ghost runner you will need to find a new Commissioner - maybe that's a plus!)
