After splurging for the Bali pick, our CFO strongly recommended that we not draft a 4th rookie. Instead, we have sent $20K in fine whiskey along with Deadwood's 1st waiver pick to East Greenwich in exchange for their 1st waiver pick. Will this move actually get us someone better in the waiver draft? Perhaps not, but at least it removes the temptation for drafting another rookie and we can focus on restocking the farm system.
