Wow! All 6 of Austin's Cs are gone, all for at least $390K except Kreidler, who's just happy to be wanted. Austin made some bids on young players but only ended up with a couple 30ish "catchers". WTF? Oh well, at least there's a lot of cash to keep us warm at night. Okay, what now?

Although I absolutely LOVE franchise icon Jose Ramirez, I'm feeling like it might be time to seriously consider trading him and break up our ridiculous 3B/SS logjam. Austin has only 9 batters at this point, but 4 are restricted to 3B or SS and Cruz is only nominally an OF. I'm seeking young talent at any other position. OF is particularly wide open with Soto feeling very lonely right now. Even if you're not making a run at Ramirez, let me know if you have any spare players who I might find interesting. There's plenty of opportunity on the roster right now. I'm also not really attached to those veteran catchers and would gladly flip one or both for younger talent. I might even deal RP Clay Holmes if the price is right. Okay, I'll stop there for now. Who wants to make a deal?
