The Austin Greyhounds made their first trade of the new era by sending veterans Adam Wainwright and CJ Cron to Mudville in exchange for the MUD #3 and #5, along with $800K in cold hard cash. Thanks to Adam and CJ for their significant contributions to Shiner's 235 wins in the past 2 seasons. Alas, that regular season success didn't carry over into the playoffs. Perhaps their luck will change with the team that Mudville is buying? Only time will tell!
