Sewell's players are all busy trying to convince each other they have a shot against BRK, but management is looking ahead to 2023, when we foresee having excellent pitching but an offense that has holes. We seek help at C, 3B and OF.
If you're a contender who's looking for a SP, then Miles Mikolas, who pitched a little over 200 innings and held opponents to a 630 OPS, is currently scheduled to be in my rotation, but could be traded for a bat of comparable this-year value. He turned 34 in August and will be a B2 contract next season.
The trade bait most likely to be of interest to rebuilding teams is my young carded starting pitchers such as Aaron Ashby, Clarke Schmidt, Roansy Contreras and Joey Wentz.
Bring on the fabulous offers! (Are people who aren't Eric allowed to say that?)
