After all the recent turnover, Mitch Keller has actually been on the Surprise roster longer than anyone else. He was picked in the 5th round of the 2015 IOD. The eternal Asdrubal Cabrera arrived the following season and easily has the most tenure on our active roster. So anyway, Surprise looks like they should bounce back this season, but would be better with a pitching upgrade. I would really hate to see Keller reach his lofty potential for someone else, but am willing to make the sacrifice for a significant improvement. It would have to be someone pretty good to tempt me as Keller does have a useful card now with 72 AIP and a 2.91 ERA. If you really have something special to offer, I would even consider moving young starter Cal Quantrill, but he has 104 AIP and a 2.25 ERA. Veteran lefty Patrick Corbin could also be available, but I'm expecting him to be much better 2021. As usual, I'm open to discussing other opportunities for improvement, but very unlikely to part with my precious top prospects at this point.
Perhaps the right deal isn't out there to be made, but I'll float the names and we'll see what happens. At least it's something to think about before the waiver draft comes around...
