While Shiner waits for their date with San Francisco in CLDS, I'll dip a toe in the murky offseason waters. It looks like they should be a contender again, but definitely have some work to do. The top priority is finding Soto some help in the OF as Cain opted out after 5 games and the other guys cratered or retired. We could also use a closer with Yates injured and Vazquez rotting in prison. Another quality starter would be nice and I'll at least listen to upgrade opportunities at 1B (Olson), 2B (Wong) or C (Casali/Sisco/Pina).
Trade bait includes: Jorge Polanco, Monte Harrison, Nomar Mazara, Danny Duffy, Wade Miley, Ty Buttrey, Tim Hill, and draft picks. Filling the OF void could also make Mauricio Dubon expendable.
