At long last, the Shiner Blondes have successfully made a trade this off-season! They will send Jonathan Loaisiga, the SHI #1, and $200K in crisp non-sequential bills to WAS for relievers Kirby Yates and Jake Diekman. It's a return for Diekman, who played for SHI in 2014 and 2015. Of course, nobody else from those teams is on the current roster. So we've clearly committed to building a bullpen of doom, but only time will tell if it will be enough to compensate for the uninspiring rotation...
TER protests, as they don't feel that SHI should be permitted to further improve its team, particularly after buying pretty much every reliever available in the auction.
