Shiner just can't enough of Aaron's wide array of colorful international currencies, so they accepted $180K in exchange for 4 pitching prospects: Scott Blewett, Marcos Diplan, Matthew Sauer, and Josh Staumont. I look forward to seeing all of them making the leap to greatness next season just to spite me. Oh well, at least I have more room to draft exciting new prospects. For the record, this is now Shiner's 4th trade with Bali this offseason out of 6 total trades. Fun!
On the other hand, Surprise somehow completed 9 trades before making one with Bali. However, that tragic oversight has now been corrected as they also couldn't resist that sweet Bali cash. Reliever Nate Jones heads to Bali and has embraced his destiny to get the final out that finally ends Harmony Grove's divisional dominance. In exchange, Surprise will collect $100K in moist bills. That's less than what they already paid Jones, but this is a noble cause!
