Shiner and Gallatin Valley reached agreement today on a somewhat rare swap of veterans for veterans. The Cutthroats send LHP Wade Miley and RHP Ivan Nova to Shiner in exchange for 1B/DH Lucas Duda, RHP Cody Allen and $150K in gold doubloons.
At this point, Shiner doesn't really have any significant roster holes and few insignificant ones even. However, they could use another RF/DH bat and could make room for more quality relief. Upgrades in the rotation or at catcher could also be interesting.
