After adding several pitchers earlier today, it was time to address the offense. Surprise sends young lefty Adalberto Mejia to Springfield in exchange for RH slugger and lucky charm Steve Pearce. With Pearce, Price and Porcello on the roster now, a championship should be inevitable, right?

Springfield confirms the trade of 2018 World Series MVP Steve Pearce for 2020 World Series MVP Adalberto Mejia.   

Jury's still out on whether that's the Major League World Series or the AAA one.
