Following the acquisitions of Ryan Schmipf (3B) and Trayce Thompson (LF), the Pioneers will feature two unlimited players with starting roles. While this will result in plenty of home runs and triples, it may also result in Redwood leading the league in strikeouts and errors.
This has also resulted in diminished roles for rookie Patrick Kivlehan, Greg Garcia, and Joey Rickard, who are now available. Kivlehan mashes lefties and can play 3B (3e27), 1B (4e5), and both corner OF spots (4e13). Garcia can play 3B (4e12), 2B (3e20), and SS (4e18) and is an on-base machine against righties. Rickard is a great 4th OFer who can platoon against lefties and play all three OF positions (2e5 in LF/RF, 3e5 in CF), and can also bunt and steal a base in the late innings.
Redwood is looking for relief help, a 2Bman against lefties, and cash/draft picks.
