Good morning! In the aftermath of the latest wild and crazy CFA auction, my teams both ended up with a variety of new players, some more shiny than others. Inevitably, the pieces don't all fit together quite right, but just means we need to make some deals!
Surprise will start by shopping the following players acquired or retained last night:
AJ Schugel (RHP-R, 35 AIP) - Card doesn't quite match his sparkling 1.97 ERA, but it's still pretty good with minimal split. Minors eligible, for those who are into that sort of thing (hey Kevin!)
Norichaka Aoki (OF-L, 411 APA) - Solid lefty bat vs. RHP, but doesn't really have a role here after I spent big money on Gonzalez and Rasmus.
Chris Gimenez (C/1B/LF/3B-R, 248 APA) - Decent bench bat who can hit L and R, but probably more valuable to a team that wants him to catch.
Current wish list:
Cash!
Decent SP with at least 15 GS
Decent utility IF type (whatever happened to that Romine guy?)
I'll stop there for now, but am open to discussing other players, picks, and prospects given sufficient temptation. I'm always interested in potential upgrades, but that would presumably involve some other assets.
