Shiner finally addressed their gaping void at catcher by sending their 2nd round pick to Rome in exchange for the alliteratively named Martin Maldonado and Rome's #5-8 picks. I'm not proud, but must admit that I've done worse things with 2nd round picks over the years. At least Maldonado should be an upgrade from last year's uninspiring Perez/Casali combo. Right? Please tell me that he'll be better...
