With just 5 days left in the current trading period and just two weeks until rosters and salaries are due, Redwood has the following players available:
Jean Segura - 27 year old SS/DH, hit .300 with 22 SB's.
Brandon Belt - 29 year old 1Bman, hit .241 with a .355 OBP with 18 HR's in just 382 AB's in a pitcher's park. Great platoon option against righties and strong defense with 2e4 at 1B
Nori Aoki - 35 year old OF/DH, hit .288 with a .340 OBP against righties with 10 SB's in just 336 AB's. Great lefty 4th outfielder/pinch-hitter off the bench.
Dixon Machado - 24 year old SS/2B/3B, hit .286 against righties and is likely to get the full-time 2B job in Detroit this season. Great backup SS (2e12) and middle infielder off the bench.
Josh Tomlin - 33 year old starting pitcher with 26 starts and 155 adjusted innings pitched. Had a 4.98 ERA and walked just 14 batters all season, so WHIP still looks strong at 1.28.
Tim Adleman - 30 year old starter/relief pitcher with 20 starts and 135 adjust innings. Had a Cincy inflated 5.52 ERA, but decent WHIP at 1.43 on a balanced card and struck out 108 batters.
The team is looking for outfield help (particularly CF), 3B/2B vs. lefties, upgrades in the starting rotation, and late inning relief help. Cash and/or draft picks are also good.
