As some of you know, I really love Roogie Odor, as do the Surprise fans.  His knack for big hits combined with a scrappy/jerky attitude has made him a local hero and inspired delicious hate from our opponents.  However, the time has come to at least explore the market for a 22 year old 2nd baseman who hit 33 homers in 2016.  I hate to consider trading him for the above reasons along with the fact that this team has precious little young talent.  On the other hand, Zobrist has the Surprise 2B spot locked down for now and Odor deserves a chance to play every day.  As a wise ex-Police man once said - "If you love somebody, set them free."  Surprise hasn't have any obvious needs, but Odor certainly won't go anywhere cheaply and I'm content to keep him in a limited role if necessary.  Bring on the fabulous offers!
