Okay, it's about time for me to show some interest in the 2017 season...
Shiner might actually get back to winning next year, but there's some work to do.
Their shopping list includes Catcher, Shortstop and a Closer.
The old adage states that one can never have too much pitching, but Shiner begs to differ. They currently have 17 carded pitchers with 356 starts! That's boosted by 3 unlimited starters, but still.
So yeah, Shiner has some extra starters to trade. I am not shopping Roark, Eickhoff, Snell, or Reed. The others who I would at least consider dealing include Chad Bettis, Jimmy Nelson, Patrick Corbin, Miguel Gonzalez, Josh Collmenter, The Bud Norris Experience, Aaron Blair, Braden Shipley, Nick Tropeano, and Chris Bassitt. Whew!
SHI also has an OF surplus. Mazara's not going anywhere, but I should move some of the following: Ian Desmond, Melky Cabrera, Corey Dickerson, Billy Hamilton, Lonnie Chisenhall, Peter Bourjos, Desmond Jennings, Preston Tucker, and Mac Williamson.
