Waiver Draft

Hey all -

Cuts are now posted at the site (under the Pre-Waiver Cuts) link, so we are up and ready for the Waiver Draft.  Everything should be updated on the site so please let me know asap if you have any corrections.

As discussed, we'll be using Strat Draft for this.  You should have all got an email with your log-in information a few days ago - please let me or Eric know ASAP if you didn't.  Please spend a little time over the next couple of days looking through the site.  Feel free to ask any questions & etc.

All available carded players are available on the Strat Draft site.  To draft a minor-leaguer (or to include one in your Auto Draft), go to Front Office -> My Office -> My Profile, which is also where you can set up Auto Draft.  At the bottom there is a form for "Obtain ID for pre-Majors player".  You can do this at the time you want to draft a minor leaguer, or in advance (highly recommended!).  The minor leaguer you create in SD this way will not be visible to anyone else, so you won't be giving away the names of your super-secret North Korean phenom by creating an ID in advance.

We'll be starting at 8:30 am Central on Thursday the 17th.  Everyone will have an assigned 30 minute block for their pick, but of course you can let autodraft pick whenever your pick comes up if you'd rather.  The assigned draft times will be from 8:30 am Central until 9:30 pm Central - which is not coincidentally enough for 1 complete round.

I highly recommend that everyone look around the site and fill in some autodrafts before Thursday.  As is evident from prior discussions, lots of people in the league have experience with SD, so please feel free to post questions here or send an email to various (or all) owners if something is confusing, etc.

Thanks!

-Tom

If you click on Front Office > My Office > My Profile, you can unclick the box which says "Notify me of league openings".
