Goose Island shake up/team building continues; after recent Lester deal we will take a different approach to find big bat(s); we are now able to unload very good starter(s).
One or more of the following can be dealt:
* Johnny Cueto
* Jon Lester
* Mike Fiers
* Erasmo Ramirez
(and guys with fewer starts): CJ Wilson (21) and Scott Feldman (18)
I also have decent replacement players to give back to replace AB. These include: Evan Gattis, Yonder Alonso, Jonny Gomes, Kelly Johnson and *maybe* Brad Miller depending on offers.
Needs: 2B (defense required) and DH are biggest needs; consider any elite-type bat.
