We have four (4) openings for next season. Craig has decided that the Strat computer game is not for him, so that opens up COL and GOL, Joe needs to release MGG as he has too many darn teams, and after thankfully agreeing to take on ASB midseason for us, Mike is stepping down from the extra team.
If anyone knows of a good owner candidate, please let me know ASAP. Meanwhile I am going to put notices on the usual online spots to see if good candidates come up.
With 4 open teams I also think we have to consider the possibility of contraction and a dispersal draft.
Any thoughts very welcome. Personally, I would much rather get some resolution sooner rather than let it linger into the offseason.
I'm not necessarily dying to do it, but if you can find owners for the other teams, I could take one of the two Federal League teams.
I also think that the 1800's syndicate ownership was highly underrated, so instead I could take on ASB and COL (oh, and move Kershaw, DeGrom, Hamels, Keuchel, Cruz, and Pollock to EGR). I would, of course, significantly reduce ticket prices for the ASB and COL fans in return. It's an idea.
