While this list should stop the talk of my having some kind of "draft god" status and strongly points to the crown going to Dave or Keith at present, I would protest that Mr. Jeff Clement is on Buda.

My apologies to Don, I misread the roster list. THus SUP has 0 and BUD has 2.

For the official record, SOS actually has 4 in the top 100 with Braun, Hansen, Kubel, and Lerew.  Surprise is indeed quite bereft of Top 100 prospects, but they did draft 3 of those guys and trade them away this offseason.  I'm not sure if that's better or worse...

BTM has 11 in the top 100...7 draftees and 4 in trades.  BTM traded away Young at some point and was fortunate to get him back.  BTM's impressive minor league system can only be matched by the amount of suck on it's major league team.

While I am pleased that BA rated 7 gdp and 9 Hdt players among the top 100, plus Hermida of Pet originally drafted by Hdt, I still aclkowledge that you Don Edwards are the DRAFT GOD!!!!

Besides for every Jeter that panned out i can show a Mateo who never made it. Also BA never thought enough of guys like Giambi, Sweeney or Ordonez to rate them in the top 100. I take their rankings with a huge grain of salt but it is fun to look at.

Elysian Fields:

Guys still on team:

Andrew McCutchen #50

Scott Elbert #55

Jay Bruce #76

Blake DeWitt #82

Guys no longer on team that I either drafted or traded for:

Justin Verlander #8 (drafted)

Joel Guzman #26 (drafted)

Hanley Ramirez #30 (drafted)

Cameron Maybin #31 (traded for)

Mike Pelfrey #36 (drafted)

Homer Bailey #38 (drafted)

Neil Walker #43 (drafted)

Jered Weaver #57 (drafted)

Troy Patton #62 (drafted)

Damn i hate myself right now.  My team isn't going to compete with Harmony Grove and I could still have 13 of the top 100 my team if I wasn't trying to compete.  That and feeling sorry for my dad so I give him the sweetheart deal of the century.  That deal is on par with the deal Jon gave Tom T to start the Santa Fe run his first year in the league.
