I finally made a trade for my other team. Shiner hopefully won't be shopping for a 3B again for a while. However, they do still need help at 1B, 2B, and SS. The SP situation is even more dire now, although Dickey claims he can handle 100 starts if necessary. Thanks and good luck to Hamels, who had 3 great seasons with Shiner, including 2 WS trips and a championship. Thanks also to Grandy, who was surprisingly effective as a part-time OF with last year's mediocre team.
Even with Grandy gone, SHI has too many LH OF and is very eager to move David Murphy. He's a serviceable LF/RF option vs. RHP and only a B1 for 2015. He can be yours for a warmish body to provide IF or SP help. I may even be willing to sweeten the dealt to get someone who I actually like.
