(1) Ballpark Designations are due on Wednesday, March 12. This is a free ballpark change year for all teams. Remember that ballparks can only be changed for free every 3 years, so pick wisely or be prepared to spend $500K to change before 2017. Any MLB ballpark may be chosen, even if many teams choose that park, and no custom parks are allowed.
(2) Roster cuts are due on Sundat, March 16. This is the ONLY chance to cut players all season, so after these cuts you must be down to a maximum of 60 players total and a maximum of 30 carded players (plus up to 5 little a players - remember that if you designate a player as little a for roster purposes they can only play in the last 2 series of the year and cannot appear in the playoffs). There is no refund for salaries paid to cut players.
(3) Waiver Draft instructions are due Thursday, March 20. Unlike the C/FA Auction and the IOD, the waiver draft is done only by written instruction. The instructions can be as detailed and complicated as you want them to be, but please be clear and specific. Instructions to get "the best unlimited SP available" will be given a 3-second token effort, whereas I will do my absolute best to follow directions like "take a guy off list A, then if that was a SS go to list B and if not go to list C" etc etc.
