It's been a few weeks since Rome made a deal, and their notoriously impatient GM is said to be pacing the hallways.

While the team is content to go into the auction season with what it has in place, Rome could be persuaded into dealing for one of the following:

• An Everyday Bat- Position doesn't matter so much. As much as Rome hates the DH, Rome would be well served to hold its nose and go find one.
• Another Quality SP- Are you looking to move a guy who would be a (substantial?) upgrade on Kyle Kendrick in Rome's 5th starter spot? Maybe we should chat.
• Another Closer- Latroy Hawkins once started a game against Jim Abbott (remember the pitcher with one hand?). Yeah...that was a LONG time ago. It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to have some insurance here.

There isn't much on the Major league roster I'm looking to move, and there are a couple of minor leaguers who are VERY unlikely to be dealt, but if you see something that might make sense, feel free to drop me a line.
