It's a bittersweet day in Surprise as they wave goodbye to a pair of players expected to be franchise cornerstones for many years.  Alas, it was not to be.  Oh yeah, Paredes is leaving also, but the fans don't care so much about him.  Anyway, here's the deal.

SUR sends Wieters, Espinosa, and Paredes to KC for Cishek, Buehrle, Sogard, and HAR #2

After getting a taste of winning last year, the young Zombies want more and these new additions should help.  However, the pitching staff remains thin and there are other opportunities for improvement as well.  Let me know if you want to contribute!
