NMO started the scoring early with a 2 run double in the 1st inning. Escobar singled in Victorino in the 3rd to cut the lead to 2-1. NMO answered with a two run homerun from Ike Davis in the 4th. Santana added a run in the 5th singling in Andrus. A Harper single and a Morales homerun added 3 runs in the 7th. Beltre homered in the bottom of the 7th which was answered by Harper run scoring single in the 8th. Justin Turner hit a 3 run homer in the 9th but it wasn't enough as NMO defeated HAR 9-5.
Game 2 - Fister vs Darvish
Morales was at it again with a solo homerun in the 2nd. Saunders singled in Carpenter in the 6th to make it 2-0. Butler cut the lead to 1 in the bottom of the 6th and that was as close as HAR would get. Morales hit another solo shot in the 9th and NMO takes a 2-0 series lead winning 3-1.
Victorino would start the scoring in the 4th knocking in Hamilton. Morales answered, singling in two runs in the bottom of the 4th. A Dirks 2 run homerun in the 5th added on to the lead. Chris Nelson answered with a 2 run homerun in the 6th followed by a Justin Turner 2 run double. HAR added 5 in the 7th on a Lee ground out, Upton 2 run single, and Turner 2 run homerun. Harper added a run on a single in the 7th, answered by a Nelson sac fly in the 8th. HAR would end up winning the game 11-5.
