Jordan Pacheco is looking forward to playing in a ballpark that gives him a plausible excuse for his lack of power.
Santiago Casilla will now be the closer for a mediocre team instead of the slop reliever for a contender. If there was a roto league based on our strat league, that would be important.
Extensive research clearly demonstrates that chicks do dig the long ball and Youk should make a big impact in that area. It's tough to part with Casilla, who was so great for SHI in the past 2 seasons, including an awesome run in the 2012 playoffs. However, the show must go on, or something like that.
Also, Molina and my pitchers were threatening to go on strike if we didn't get a real backup catcher and Mathis fits the profile, I suppose.
So, is anyone else going to make trades or should we just rename the 2nd trading period as the Shiner trading period? I could be up for more deals if you're feeling left out...
