SPR has no blue chip trade bait available, but does offer several veterans who could plug holes at good prices.
Jorge Posada (B2) is useless against lefties but ~800 OPS vs. righties. As you know he was primarily a 1B/DH this year, but did you know he will also be carded at catcher and 2B (!?!)
Johnny Damon (B2) offers ~750 OPS and still has speed (19/24 SB). Primarily DH but played 16 games in LF and one at 1B.
I can trade either one of my third basemen- Placido Polanco (B5) or Ryan Roberts (B2).
And Kevin Gregg didn't have a great season (4.43 ERA), but as a B2 he does offer a cheap closer rating, 22 saves.
SPR currently has no SS but is mostly looking for future value in any form. Carded players and close-to-the-majors prospects preferred as we hope to compete in the 2013 strat season.
