After much soul-searching, I've come to the conclusion that SCH really needs to improve their defense, particularly in the IF.  Therefore, I'm reluctantly hanging a for-sale sign on 2B Rickie Weeks, who hit 29 HR.  I would like to replace him with a quality 3B, allowing Prado to play 2B. 

Other opportunities for improvement include:
1) SS - emphasis on defense here also, either to platoon with or replace Desmond
2) CF or LF vs. RHP - could use help here also, particularly a LH bat
3) CF vs. LHP - good defense and lefty killing would be a nice combo
4) C - platoon vs. LHP partner for Molina
5) DH vs. LHP - generally could use more lefty-killing bats, particularly if Weeks goes
6) SP - not a huge need at the moment, but could always do better

Many players, prospects and picks could be available, including:
Batters - Weeks, Desmond, Maier, Bell, Gimenez, maybe Thames  
Pitchers - Lackey, Saunders, Olsen, Harrison, Ray, Beimel
Prospects - All but Franklin, Sanchez, Hamilton, and Castellanos
Picks - All of own (9th in order), plus 3 and 4 from FTW (8th in order)

Of course, I would also welcome prospects, picks, and cash coming back my way as needed to balance things out.  I also can add cash on my end.

P.S.  This team is also shopping for a new home to escape the cold weather, even though I can't do that myself right now.  Expect them to officially become the Shiner Blondes soon.  Hopefully they will fare better than past teams there...
