This team has a nice core of quality players and huge yawning voids in several positions. Unfortunately, there's not much viable trade bait, but as the subject line implies, they do have more SS than they can use.
My current whim is to roll the dice with Ian Desmond going forward, or at least until it's too late to turn back. That would free up Rafael Furcal and Ronny Cedeno, who both have value, but of a very different sort.
I'm willing to talk about trading other players, but this SS surplus is the priority for now. In return, I would like to address voids at 3B, CF, LF, and/or SP.
