Yes, Surprise has made a lot of trades this year. 13, to be exact. However, I'm still not satisfied. It would still be nice to add another bat that can help my offense at least on a part-time basis. I have a wide variety of players who could go back in return, including excess at 3B (Tatis or Hinske), which seems to be in demand. Those guys can play all over, in fact. However, I can play with the batters as is. So the bigger priority right now is to address the pitching excess.
The following are all on the trade block: 1) Sean Marshall (9 GS, 93 AIP, 4.32 ERA) 2) Pat Misch (7 GS, 68 AIP, 4.48 ERA) 3) DJ Carrasco (103 AIP, 3.76 ERA) 4) Kip Wells (7 GS, 5.33 ERA) 5) Jamie Moyer (25 GS, 4.94 ERA)
Marshall is the most valuable to me, but I'm willing to deal him with 1 or 2 of the others (probably not Moyer) for someone with at least a few more starts. Unfortunately, I can't really afford to trade Moyer without getting a few more starts than he has. I wouldn't be very picky about quality in that scenario. I would also be willing to sell a couple of these guys off, particularly if packaging them someone with more starts doesn't work out.
If you want to get really crazy by helping me in multiple ways at the same time, Surprise could make room for another good bat against either RH or LH. Someone who can actually play CF and/or RF adequately would be very nice.
I could add prospect(s) and/or cash to make a deal work if necessary.
