Slough Creek (SLC) Trade Block v.2
Permalink

Hello all. I feel pretty good with what I have right now, but do have some middling pieces that are available via trade and a couple of good draft picks (Bali #2, High Desert #2) and some good young prospects (I'm keeping Mickolio, otherwise, I'll trade anyone).

Here are pieces that may be of some interest to the right person that I could live without in the right deal:

Edgar Renteria (SS)-Abnormally bad splits vs. LHP in 2009. He's alive.
Alex Gonzalez (SS)- He too, is alive. Potential defensive replacement.
Gregg Zaun (C)-You could do worse for a hitting catcher. .801 OPS vs. RHP.
Nick Hundley (C)-Young, with a .768 OPS against RHP
Mike Jacobs (1B)-.758 OPS against RHP and coming off two years with better splits.
Matt Stairs (OF, DH)-.750 OPS against RHP and unlimited (BA<.200)
Brian Giles (OF)- Alive. Barely. Unlimited terrible ABs.
David Dellucci (OF)- See Giles, Brian.
Brent Lillibridge (UTIL)- Sub .500 OPS, Fast. Unlimited ABs!

Andy Sonnanstine (SP)- Bad year. Unlimited. Just 26 years old.
Pat Misch (SP, RP)-Held RHP to .729 OPS. Started 7 games. Still just 28.
Jason Jennings (RP)- Pitched 61 survivable (?) innings.
Alan Embree (RP)-He's alive.
John Bale (RP)- See Embree, Alan
David Bush (SP)- Unlimited Innings, Very Bad Year.

I'm interested in good pitching (even if they're really old), speed, and very good defensive players.

I'd also consider trading any player on the team where I'd be adding something to  upgrade. Feel free to email me at jmenicucci@gmail.com.

Joe,

I would like to commend you on this very entertaining and informative message, but also curse you for luring me into looking up some of those players.  It's a wretched hive of scum and villainy!  (with a few moderately useful villains mixed in)

Tradin' Travis really needs to pick up the pace if he wants to match your level of activity this offseason.  smile.gif

And I'm Wuher, standing behind the bar, saying: "Your droids. They'll have to wait outside. We don't want them here." And by droids, I mean no-hit, no-field benchwarmers and pitchers without solid splits and high ERAs...
