Desperate for someone/anyone who can play 2b and/or 3b, Schaumburg liberates the ageless wonder Craig Counsell from Austin and ships out Yuniesky Betancourt, Steven Pearce and $100K to help pay for their care and feeding.   

With Craig putting up one of his best seasons at age 39, we expect him to be a big part of our future!  Okay, maybe not, but I'm happy to have him now anyway. 

SCH is still seeking additional help with 3b, lf, and pitching (most notably a closer).  What could possibly go wrong?
