ARoid is not the first 3b to be destroyed in SB/Gdp. You can look at the lost careers of Kelly Gruber, Chris Sabo, Terry Pendelton and a long list of other 3B who have had their MLB careers end shortly after taking up residence in Gdp/SB.

We do take solace in the 5 ARBA Championships that wave from above the CF walls. I'm not real good at math but I believe that would be 5 more than hang in AUS despite the problems with my infielders.

PS Gary there are also 2 championship flags waving in HDT. Call me sometime and I will help teach you how to build a roster to get a shot at a championshipbiggrin

While bowing to your prowess as a GM and the fact that there are 5 flags waiving over over the now defunct GDP (SB has no wins) and 2 over HDT,  I do need to make one correction to your statement. I have two flags that have waived under my guidance. Austin and Independence both won ARBA championships in the early years (pre Bernard, I can hear it now, I wouldn't have those if you had been in the league then). So instead of 7-0 it is 7-2. I admit I do have a ways to go to catch up. Because I am so far behind in championships and am unlucky enough to be in the FL South with HDT, I relish every opportunity to get in a jab when I can. My lone goal in ARBA is to knock HDT out of the playoffs. One step at a time. I'll worry about championships later.

You are correct that championships before my, Tomlinson, Brasher et al arrival carry less weight as the competition was watered down. However, a win is a win and I did not want to sleight Aus accomplishments back when Carter was president.

As for defeating Hdt, it is good to have a dream. Gary, keep hope alive.wink

I once again want to extend a helping hand to those who cant help themselves and bring Aus out of the wilderness. Please contact me before you make any transactions , trades and draft picks and I will for a nominal fee guide  Aus to the playoffs. I am after all with the government and I am here to help youbiggrin
