Game 7 was even more exciting than game 6. a Guillen hr in the 1st gave Hdt a 1-0 lead but Pburg came back in the 2nd with a 2 run jack from Snyder to go up 2-1. Hdt answered with back to back long balls from Glaus and Raburn to go in front 4-2. Pburg would rally for 3 in the 4th with the key play being Mags inability to make a play on a 2 run double. The strat game locked up my computer at this point and the rest of the game was played with Warren rolling the electronic dice and me following along blind.Snyder's 2nd homer of the game gave Pburg a 6-4 lead after 5 innings. Hdt got a run back on a Rollins HR and it was 6-5 going to the 8th. Snyder's hat trick was complete with a 2 run HR that gave Pburg a 8-5 lead going to the bottom of the 8th. Hdt got a run back on a pinch single from Either to make it 8-6 but left 2 runners on. The bottom of the 9th is a replay of game 6 as a leadoff walk to Guillen is followed by a Mags moon shot and we are tied at 8 after 9 innings. Papelbon pitches 3+ innings of goose eggs to set up the drama in the 11th. A 1 out 2b from Beltran brought little used David Murphy to the plate and Pmanager Wringland decided to pitch to kid. Murphy laced a ball to the gap scoring Beltran and sending Hdt back to the ARBA WS for the 1st time in 6 years.

Congrats to Warren for a great run. He took both of those brutal losses with class. I doubt I could have done the same.
