With the trade of Peralta Houston's remaining assets are Orlando Hernandez and Sean Casey. I also have picks I'm willing to trade for major leaguers. Houston's primary need at this point is another full-time outfielder. I could use a catcher also if someone wants to take Varitek. Otherwise I'll work on that piece of the puzzle next year.

Ft. Worth is in interesting position. As it stands now I could not make a trade and compete for division. I would like to improve at 3b if possible and obtain a better 5th starter than Trachsel. I do have some interesting parts available, namely, Inge, Bautista, Mackowiak, Abreu, Everett and Catalanotto.
