I'm not quite comfortable with our total number of plate appearances, given how many crappy pitchers Surprise is likely to face this season.  So I'd like to pick up another bat for some added peace of mind.  A batter's ability to actually hit is very much optional.  Someone who could play the middle infield would be particularly helpful, but I'm not picky.  I don't really even need all that many more PA. 

My payment would obviously depend on the future quality of the player involved, but potential trade chips include prospects such as Mike Costanzo (Phi-3B), Mark Hamilton (StL-1B), Jose Mijares (Min-LHP), and Chad Orvella (TB-RHP).  Higher quality options might justify major leaguers such as little-A reliever Josh Rupe or part-time DH Mike Sweeney.  Money can be used to balance out either side of the transaction.  As always, I'm open to alternative suggestions.  Note that I have another offer out there, so this need may not last long.
