What the heck, I might as well get in on this nonsense too.  I'll go ahead and separate my draft eligibles from the rest of the list, mostly as an excuse to list more players.

Surprise Zombies
1) Jacoby Ellsbury (Bos)
2) Chris Iannetta (Col) - card
3) Angel Villalona (SF)
4) Jake McGee (TB)
5) Kevin Kouzmanoff (SD) - card
6) Daric Barton (Oak)
7) Alexi Casilla (Min)
8) Kevin Slowey (Min)
9) Neftali Feliz (Atl)
10) Jermaine Mitchell (Oak)

Draft eligibles
1) Matt Wieters (Georgia Tech)
2) Josh Vitters (HS)
3) Justin Jackson (HS)
4) Ross Detwiler (Missouri State)
5) Neil Ramirez (HS)
6) James Simmons (UC Riverside)

It's a nice group, but certainly could have been better if not for a few mistakes.  I should also mention that the Surprise roster includes 9 other rookies and 5 2nd year players.  On the other hand, it only includes 5 players from last year's championship team and 2 of those were retained on Cs.  When we tear it down, we really tear it down...

Okay midseason update time.  For the Ft Worth minor leagues it has been a mixture of success and failure.  Players expected to shine (Sulentic and Campbell) have failed; and unexpected surprises (Davis, Carter, Outman).

7. Kevin Mulvey  NYn  3.40 era at double A
8. Josh Outman  Phi   2.52 era in pitcher friendly FSL
9. Matt Gamel  Mil      after slow start got hot, hitting .307 with .839 ops in FSL
10. Chris Davis  Tx    crushing ball .314avg, .951 ops at A ball, K's a lot

Draft Eligible College PLayers
Andrew Brackman  NCSt  1st rd pick of yankees, not yet signed
Brad Meyers Loyala MM    5th rd pick Washington, signed
