Zach Thompson Alert!
(Preview)
Eagle-Eye Eric has noticed that Pittsburgh's favorite son Zach Thompson was erroneously omitted from the Rookies. This grievous error has now been corrected. All of us here at the League Office just hope that one day the Thompson family can forgive us.

Shiner Can't Stop, Won't Stop, Trades with East Greenwich
(Preview)
Shiner made its 3rd deal of the eerily quiet 2nd trading period that opened this week. This time, they even got a player in return! Reliever Tyler Duffey and OF prospect Brayan Buelvas head to East Greenwich in exchange for veteran IF Donovan Solano and $60K in beer money. Thanks to Tyler for his cont...

ISL
(Preview)
Looks like several teams are needing 2nd base so I will entertain offers for Nicky Lopez. Already have an offer of cash and a mlb.com top 100 prospect. Don't have many spots open so not looking for several players in return, mainly cash and a good prospect. Also looking to sell the following picks: HA...

Shiner/Bali Transaction
(Preview)
Shiner continues their post auction purge by shipping Mauricio Dubon to exotic Bali for $125K in broken dreams. Thanks for the memories and good luck! The Greyhounds still have way too many pitchers, so please let me know if youre interested in Miguel Castro, Tyler Duffey, Joely Rodriguez and/or A...

Shiner/Rome Transaction
(Preview)
The 2nd trading period kicks off with a whimper, not a roar, as Shiner dumps one of their poor investments. Oh well, it has to start somewhere, right? Veteran lefty Jake Diekman is headed to Rome in exchange for $68K in gently used Beavis & Butthead memorabilia. The Greyhounds thank Jake for his...

Post C Needs
(Preview)
So the auction started well, but I ended up with some gaps beyond what I'd hoped. Brooklyn is still looking for: Second Base Outfield PA DH All should be good this year. I do have way more starts than I need although everybody was someone I liked, so they're not super cheap. Also $$ and picks.

Rome has an extra Tommy Pham
(Preview)
In case someone's looking for a decent OBP/speed combo. I'd love to find a usable reliever for him, or perhaps a draft pick.

Shiner in the Auction Aftermath
(Preview)
So yeah, that was kind of weird. Shiner ended up keeping 6 of their 10 C players, including 3 on no-bids, and added 3 more cheap guys. As a result, the roster is quite crowded and some dudes must go to make room for FA and rookies. Available players include OF/IF Mauricio Dubon, LH reliever/closer Jake D...

Now that the C auction is wrapped up, Mudville is looking to fill in its remaining needs in the FA auction. However, Mudville spent less than what was anticipated in the C auction and would be willing to entertain offers for Mudville to purchase any of the following: 1B (part-time), SS, 3B (possibly)...
