Purchasing Phillip's Picks
(Preview)
As usual, I just couldn't resist purchasing some picks again this year. However, I did avoid the premium picks this time. Both my teams purchased picks from Phillip, as shown below. Austin sends $80K to Rishi for the latter's #4-10 and waiver #1-2 picks. Deadwood sends $91K for Mudville for the latt...

ARBA "SCHEDULE"
(Preview)
Just looking at the timeline for off-season activities. With the way this league is run, the offseason actually happens very quickly, C draft one day, FA draft one day, then the IOD draft....and a waiver draft. Why is there such a long delay between the end of the FA draft (March 9) and the IOD draft (M...

(Preview)
The legion of passionate Deadwood fans have demanded an update post about their team, so here it is. Deadwood got off to an even slower start than Austin in the FA auction and didn't have nearly as many targets. However, they did eventually add a few useful players in the 165-196 range. They're pretty c...

Austin in the Auction Aftermath
(Preview)
After a slow start, Austin ended up adding 6 players, bringing their roster up to 33. That's feeling a bit crowded, so the first two pickups have been deemed expendable. - John Schreiber: RH reliever was great in 2022 but more of a ROOGY in 2023. He still has 52 serviceable AIP and seems like a good bet to...
